I am requesting approval to attend the in-person AML and Fraud School, the week of March 15–19, 2027. The school will occur over a total of five days.
Having researched AML and fraud education opportunities, the ABA AML and Fraud School provides a unique educational experience for AML and fraud professionals, as it takes a deep dive into the synergies between AML and fraud. In addition to gaining a comprehensive understanding, by completing the curriculum, I am also on the path to sit for the Certified AML and Fraud Professional (CAFP) designation.
The instructors are all top-tier practitioners in their specialties and come from large and small community banks, private consultancies, and law enforcement. The school will focus on AML and fraud programs, AML and fraud typologies, research and investigation, and reporting and requirements.
Attending the school provides a rich learning experience, as students learn from shared experiences during class conversations and have plenty of interaction with the faculty. I understand that building a professional network of contacts in our industry is an invaluable part of the school experience.
I have included an outline of the costs below. Please let me know if there is any additional information I can provide.
Here is the breakdown of costs:
- $2,895 for ABA members / $3,895 for ABA non-members
The time necessary to complete this school will be:
- Approximately two hours of pre-course work
- Approximately 35 hours of class work
