Authorizes State Bank Commissioner enforcement actions against lenders engaging in predatory, unfair, or unsafe practices.

About the Legislation:

The State Bank Commissioner will take action against providers that exhibit predatory lending practices, violate consumer protection laws or fair lending laws, engage in unfair or deceptive acts or practices, or otherwise engage in unsafe or unsound lending practices.

Private Right of Action: No.
Damages/Enforcement: Subject to administrative enforcement by the State Bank Commissioner.
