(-)Working with PRI is a great experience.
When they are working with us,
they are bankers that are talking to our bankers.
They are people that can come in
and really relate to our frontline
and our back office staff, which is very good,
because when you talk about doing a process improvement
or an efficiency type of program, people get nervous.
And what I've liked the most was
the PRI employees were able
to make our team feel comfortable enough
that they were willing to then open up
and really get to the root of matters
of what we could do better
or how we could improve the things that we were doing.
(-)PRI's approach aligns with the goals of our bank
because one very simple thing
that's often difficult when you bring
people in from the outside, they listened,
and they got a very good feel for what our bank is about.
They saw what was important to us.
They saw the fact that we wanted
to improve in certain areas.
I really felt like the more our employees opened up
and really embraced what they were bringing to the table,
I really felt like PRI embraced us
just as much on the other side.
And it really made for a great collaborative partnership.
(-)The way that they go about business
really aligns perfectly with NWSB.
And I say that because it's relationship-driven.
It's getting to know your customer,
it's getting to know what they need
and what they're trying to get out of a different project.
And that's exactly the way that PRI works with us.
The PRI effect is they helped us open up our eyes
that there's other ways to get things done.
There's more efficient ways, there's better ways.
And really, the PRI effect me is once they even left,
what it really has done
is it's challenged our management team,
challenged our department heads,
challenged all of our team members
to think about things that we're doing
and realize that there may be a better way.
Sometimes there's not.
Maybe the best way is the way we're doing it,
but at least to challenge that
to see if there's a better, more efficient way
for us to be doing business.
In the end, we have accepted,
and we're working on 95% of the recommendations
that PRI had given to us,
and of that 95% of recommendations,
we have implemented 75 to 76% of those currently.
And with the help of PRI and a couple other projects,
we should be checking some more of those
to mark 'em as complete here very soon.
